My son LOVES tractors, excavators, and well....anything that moves. He was super excited to get this. Opening the package, YOU NEED A SCREWDRIVER. This is to remove the controller from the plastic. Then you have to use the screwdriver again to remove the battery pack from the back of the controller. The controller takes 2 AA batteries. It has a very long antenna. It has a very flexible antenna. The stickers are on very nicely too. I like the little operator. He just looks fun. The forward joystick goes forward. When you move the forward joystick backwards the unit doesn't back straight back, it moves more in a backward circle. The other joystick moves the excavator's boom up and down. My son LOVES it and can drive it great. It does come with the charger, it's a USB charger. It doesn't have the wall plug, however majority of people already have a million hubs and plugs. I think it's a pretty awesome item. It doesn't go very fast. Which is good dealing with children.
